Please help the preschool by purchasing a ST PAUL’S PALLETTE COOKBOOK
with over 1000 recipes sent in by our church families.
SCRIP CARDS work like gift cards. We have them available from hundreds of stores in the area.
If you shop for food, gifts, household items, clothes etc., we have SCRIP cards for you.

Do 1 Thing. Living an evangelistic life style is not complicated. It starts with waking up each morning and looking for 1 thing you can do. It means being open to Jesus using you to touch other lives. So that is our basic theme - do 1 thing. Watch as we unfold the ideas!
Our ‘Helping Hands’ Ministry is in need of more “Helping Hands.!” there is a continuing need for ‘people contact’ and we are looking for volunteers who are willing to be involved. If you would like to volunteer to minister to this wonderful woman, please call the church office and we will get you in contact with the correct person. Call 616-891-8688
The Board of Elders has designated the Lenten offerings for this year as follows:
1/3 to The Fellowship of Christian Athletes and 2/3 to the Benevolence Fund.
NEW MEMBER CLASSES will start Monday, February 1. Call the church office if you know of someone who wishes to transfer from another LCMS congregation or join by profession of faith. Or if anyone has questions about our practices and just wants to know more, come sit in and learn more about our faith. Class will meet in the Gathering Place every other Monday, through the end of March, 7-8:30 p.m.
Let your family and friends know that we are having an Open House. On Thursday, March 18th from 6:30 - 8pm

Mark your calendar! Plan to attend this great event - sunshine, warm weather, free food (compliments of Thrivent), lots of friends & fellow Lutherans, and a good old fashion baseball game. The date is Sunday, June 6, 2010. Gates open at 1:15pm and the game starts at 2:00pm. Ticket cost is $12 per adult and $5 per child. Thrivent Registration Forms will be forwarded to your church in March. Tickets will be available on the day of the game at the Thrivent registration table.
Number of Tickets Available: The Whitecaps have allocated 350 tickets for the 12 churches in the South Kent Thrivent Chapter.
Who is Invited: All Thrivent members and members of churches within the South Kent Thrivent Chapter.
Please note that Thrivent Financial will pay for all food expense and a portion of the ticket cost. The primary reason for this event is to express our thanks to all members who support the many “help-other” activities that reach out in Christ Jesus to individuals and families within our churches and communities.
